Hugo Ciotti

Raised in Guernsey and with family in Devon and Italy, I developed a deep love of the outdoors at an early age.

I studied Arboriculture and Forestry at Sparsholt College and University Centre, near Winchester, achieving Level 3 Extended National Diploma in Arboricultural Practices & Forestry Management. I was also selected for a one-year paid placement was a Heritage Landscape Arborist at Westonbirt, - the National Arboretum - in Gloucestershire, home to 2,500 different species from around the world and five national tree collections.

I then worked for eight years in the UK as a Climbing Arborist, including two years managing the MoD estate as an Arboricultural Supervisor with the largest contractor in the South of England. I relocated home to Guernsey and set up a business as an independent Arboreal Contractor, qualifying in Surrey as a tree inspector.

What I bring to your project are my professional arboricultural and climbing qualifications, honed over 12 years in the industry and backed by my knowledge, passion for all things tree-related and my experience as a qualified Tree Inspector and Surveyor. I am happy to work either alone or as part of a project team, utilising my own climbing equipment, endoscope and tools for alternative inspection.
